Overview
DigiLabs, the tech education and mentorship initiative of YandyTech Community. Our mission is to empower the next generation of tech, creators, users and leaders by providing them with the tools, skills, and guidance they need to succeed in the digital age. We believe that everyone should have access to quality tech education, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.
Projects
At DigiLabs, we offer a range of projects to help aspiring tech leaders reach their full potential. Our programs include:
Coding Bootcamps
Our coding bootcamps are designed to teach you the fundamentals of programming, from basic syntax to complex algorithms. Our experienced instructors will guide you through hands-on projects and provide personalised feedback to help you succeed.
Data Bootcamps
Our Data Bootcamp program is designed for individuals who want to develop their skills in data analysis, data visualisation, and data-driven decision-making. Over the course of the program, participants will learn how to:
- Collect, clean, and analyse data using popular data analysis tools such as Python, R, and SQL
- Create compelling visualisations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Use data to inform strategic decision-making in a variety of industries, from healthcare to finance.
The Data Bootcamp is a hands-on, project-based program that provides participants with real-world experience working with data. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the program and provide personalised feedback to help you succeed.
Upon completion of the Data Bootcamp, participants will have developed the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.

Digital Literacy Program
We partnered with a local community centre to provide digital literacy training to underserved populations. Our program helped participants learn how to use technology to improve their lives and connect with others.
Virtual Community Program
We hosted a monthly virtual skills sharing program facilitated by YandyTech team or community members to share their skills and expertise to interested community members. Below are some examples of the virtual community programs we hosted from January to date.
Learn E-Lance
We hosted our first virtual event in January 2023 facilitated by Communications and Community Growth Manager on particle skills to become a Freelancer on Upwork.
Product Management Essentials
We hosted the Product Management Training as our second virtual event in January 2023 facilitated by our valuable Community Member of YandyTech on how to build the skills to make you a badass Product manager.
AI Essentials
We hosted the AI Training as our third virtual event in February 2023 facilitated by our valuable Community Member of YandyTech on how to build the AI powered softwares and use AI enabled applications.
